It’s sad that Keller and Mouse cannot get it together, especially because Kevin tried joining his friend’s group to get closer to him, but we hope that Mouse realizes what he has soon. No fan could contain their excitement when Cheryl was finally with Tony, and the scene where the guys rescue her from Sister of the Quiet Mercy was a tear-jerker. The fifth season of “Riverdale” is underway, and the storyline is as “insane” as always, having become one of the defining shows on The CW during its run so far. Archie unexpectedly returns and he and Veronica kiss, but Reggie ends up telling Archie that he and Veronica are a thing, and Veronica cries to Archie and apologizes. He forgives her and they hook up, leading us to believe they could be ~rekindling~ things.
When V said she felt muted he was like 🤷♂️ , talked about deal breakers, asked if they could go back to dating like in high school, but that was all the fight he put up. The man just wanted to be in a relationship, any relationship so he didn’t have to be alone. Like I do think he loves V and wants her to be happy but… his heart was marriagemindedpeoplemeet never all the way in it. I honestly thought this was one time where the 180 made a lot of sense? They went headfirst into the deep end and V was forced to reckon with a lot of change that she didn’t anticipate. And the scene with her being forced to compromise with Archie was a direct parallel to the compromises she made with Chad.
However, Betty professed not to know what Veronica was talking about. They then watched as Chuck and his cronies were escorted from the building, banned from the Riverdale Bulldogs and suspended from school, thanks to Betty and Veronica. Later that day, Veronica joined Betty, Archie and Kevin for lunch when Cheryl Blossom arrived and invited Veronica to try out for the school’s cheer leading squad, the River Vixens, of which she was captain.
But that’s okay, because we all know she was meant to find Jughead. Betty is half of our favorite bestie duo with Veronica, and yes, we are jealous of their friendship. KJ was actually born in New Zealand, in case you were having trouble deciphering that accent.
